Of candy and disappointment
Well.
I knit a wee dress this weekend, done up in black and white. It did not come out as I'd envisioned it. Also it took me almost a full two days to do, something like 10 hours which is way too long to devote to anything so I'm very angry at it; one, for wasting all of my time and two, for failing to live up to my expectations. I can't even look at it right now, it disgusts me.
I'll make Last Aubrey the Forest Kiss wear it if I ever get her hair done. I shall be optimistic. It involves me, toxic chemicals, boiling water and accurate measuring and I really hope to escape with my eyebrows intact.
Easter-y, my Easter picture also did not happen as planned which was mainly due to the fact that I lost the Easter Bunny. She was in one place all week, I swear, and I only moved her when the workmen came to make a wall and that was the last I saw of her. I searched Saturday and Sunday and drove myself crazy looking for her. I finally found her in the kitchen Sunday night, upended in an never-used insulated lunch bag with only a tiny fuzzy foot poking out. Son of a bitch.
I celebrated by eating a lot of candy, hi-yo!

Did you find that other one you lost too? The expensive goofy one?
As a matter of fact, I just found her yesterday, in her hard case all safe and sound. I can't believe I lost her, so embarrassing, oy.
