Goodbye to life on the farm

I'm so glad for Yahoo Music and YouTube, without which I would have to rely on my internal jukebox which likes to change things around. Let's go back to 1983!

The Specials begat the Special U.K., the Beat (which begat General Public and Fine Young Cannibals) and Fun Boy Three. Agent M put the fear of God and dust in me and I've been afraid to play any of my records without vacuuming them and buying a new needle and whatever else it is I'm supposed to do and few of these albums are on cd. Some of their songs are on Best Of compilations which is so very ghetto.

My preference is for Terry Hall's more haunting version of Our Lips Are Sealed which I like as a contrast with their appearance on Bananarama's Really Saying Something. I'm off to find The Farmyard Connection now.
We go to do what we do because we can't draw dough, we gotta earn a livin'. Every time the drug squad comin' in troops, down goes another week's wages, there goes the family's food.
