Ratatatatat
Rare is the time when there is something I want and have to make it and actually accomplish it. The main obstacle being lack of ability and sheer laziness, of course. This makes me happy though. I don't write things down until I start because I can't draw for shit and if it's all mental, I can render it in 3-D and rotate to any angle, change the color, texture, zoom in, etc. It's like CAD! Anyway, it's easier. This here was a product of that and I am well pleased. Sad but true.

This is actually born of Kyle's hat. Kyle's I got right out of the gate on the first try and this developed from the proportions of that (which I had been struggling with) so something good came out of all that after all. Huzzah.
I think I will finish this and do another with more of a brim and narrower earflaps. It's for ZEB, obviously, so I will need to find her goggles too.
Jellyfish!

All of these ends will need to be woven in. Sigh.
Yarn: Simply Soft in Chocolate; Bernat Soft Bouclé in Natural (hateful, hateful yarn!)
Needles: US 6; size G hook
Pattern: Meine
Notes: Constructed in parts and assembled. I despise this bouclé but it was the only one I could find in the weight and color I needed. Grrrrrr.
