From the makers of No Pants Island

One day into Lent and I haven't faltered yet, yay for me! I was tempted by meat at lunch (which no one believed I could give up but I managed to do it before so I don't see what the fuss is about) but I compensated with sushi, so I'm okay. Nobody panic.

Also, my first project and my first sweater of any kind. I realized halfway in that the yarn was too big for this scale but I figured I would just go ahead and finish it to see if I needed to make any corrections.

This was from a pattern created entirely by Jenni/Jinjurblythe to stop my whining about my inability to find a bottom-up raglan pattern. Well, she shut me up. The sleeves actually took twice as long as the body itself. Not sure why that was. At first, I was well-pleased at how fast it went then I got to the first sleeve and it took forever. I was ready to quit. But I still had to do the second sleeve, but by that time all the joy had left and I just wanted the whole thing done. I had asked her for separate sleeves but I was wrong. It's counterintuitive to place them. I'm going to try again in a lighter yarn with knit on sleeves and see if my desire to kill is dampened.

So here it is. I need to attach a collar though, so it doesn't look as bleh. Maybe make the Baha wear it.
