Last year, or maybe two years ago or even longer, when the squirrels were particularly rampant, one of them left an avocado pit in my planter, which had a tomato plant at the time. I thought it was really rude of the squirrel but I didn't take it out because I am not the squirrels' mother and it is not my job to pick up after them. Anyway, fast forward to now, the tomato plant is long dead and the planter now has an avocado tree growing in it!

I don't know what to do with it so I guess I will just let it grow and see what happens.

Saturday morning, I woke up super early and bought new tires and had an oil change and read about UK railway disasters. Then I had an early dinner at Curry House with Jamie which turned into shopping and movies at Third Street, which I hadn't been to in three years. The parking is out of control now, yikes. The lot booth was still manned at 1:30 a.m.!

Only two weeks overdue and by request, a safety orange sweater for Jamie's birthday present.

Yarn: Koigu KPM
Needles: US3
Pattern: Throwing Kittens, I reckon, from the neck down, with longer and slightly wider sleeves and bodice.
Notes: Modeled by an actual non-"factory" Simply Guava with a Dainty Biscuit eyemech. I don't remember what happened to the SG's hair though, I think it might have gotten rerooted.
