I don't want to continually write about old ladyisms and "those damn kids" and such, but I don't really talk about anything else.
I am not sure what to think about all that. On the one hand, I am sure there is a good reason and all is well and I am looking too far into it. On the other hand: 1) it was not remotely well promoted or even promoted at all, it was barely mentioned, 2) the only "promoting" that was done, was done only after I did some hustling and prodded them, 3) the auction contained an excessive amount of donated items in one go, for no reason or added benefit, especially since there was no promotion, 4) the auction photos were super, super crappy even though the main organizer is a wonderful photographer 5) the items weren't sent to the main organizer, they were sent to the co-organizer who can't even spell, 6) the co-organizer's sister won the auction with a brand new account. I will assume the "sister" actually exists and isn't just a sock puppet although I have my doubts about even that.
I am not happy about it. Of course, it's not anything I need to be happy or unhappy about since it's actually none of my business. There has to be at least 2 more auctions since there were two more custom dolls done (3 total) specifically for this. A Simply Chocolate by marzipanda and some other one by budlovessissy and a couple of this and that donated small items. I just hope the kid's parents get all the money they're supposed to, I'll be satisfied with that. I will just stay out of it entirely.
