Went to doll meet on Saturday all the way out in Stepford/Monrovia. I really liked the location, I liked it the first time I went to Monrovia and was followed around by the local populace. The locals seemed nice. I managed to get a sizeable attendance there and everyone had a good time. There were even giveaways, apparently, that were all given away before they circulated to me. Uh-huh. I heard about them afterward. However, I did score complete Merry Skier stock, with goggles, for $22 and Ann was embarrassed that I "missed" all the giveaways and gave me a pair of boots, so it all worked out.

Sunday was a Re-Ment fan club meeting and Angel was there along with two people I've never met before who were Blythe collectors, whom she had never met before either but they'd brought their dolls out and that's how we found them. One of them is not on any Blythe forums but is a fashion doll collector and lives out in Playa. The other is one whose name I'd seen around so I sort of recognized, that was funny. He had been to two or three meets but they were all meets I hadn't gone to. They're on the list now, so they'll be getting reminder e-mails from me for the July meet, fo sho.
