Have I really been a member that long?

As you may (or may not!) know, Friend of Craftster memberships are good for one year from the date of purchase or from the date of angeling. We were doing some housecleaning and have noticed that you still have FOC status even though your last payment was in 2006. This is definitely a glitch on our part! The system did not remove Friend of Craftster status correctly for some users. In about a month, we will be fixing this glitch and removing your FOC status. We'd hate to lose you as a Friend though! If you donate again or are a swap angel, your FOC status will renew and fall back into the proper year long cycle and we won't bug you again.

The money we receive from FOC subscriptions goes towards all kinds of things like dedicated server costs and paying sweets4ever and I to help with the incredible amount of work it takes to run Craftster and to keep improving it. This is where your FOC subscription money gets put to use!

The same thing happened for a profession-based membership of mine. I paid "student" rates for ten years until a former boss of mine blew the whistle and my conference and seminar fees tripled as a result. Fucker.
