Making up some knits for Coraline

The color was completely off which is what happens when I try to rely on a fuzzy image I saw briefly a few weeks ago. Note to self, ex post facto Googling ≠ research.

Pattern: None.
Yarn: Brown Paper Packages Silk & Wool in blueberry and I forget what the metallic white thread is from (good thing I took a picture yesterday). The metallic white thread is Caron Snow.
Needles: US 00
Gauge: 12 stitches to the inch.

The crewel thread was a mite too thick for this as well, I could have easily used 2s on it so I think I will need to use actual thread and smaller needles. Even though the color was off, I thought I'd forge ahead and embroidered stars over half of it before deciding that didn't look right, since the whole thing was off so I took them all out and just went with one big (crookedy) star in the middle like a Converse sweater.
