Not zombies, really.
This turned out bigger than I expected which was about half the size it is now. The torso and the heads were done as one piece so there are actually two necks. Each head has a different set of ears and the left-side arm and leg is different than the right-side's. The face gave me problems as a muzzle made it look like a pig or some strange animal so ultimately, I embroidered the noses and mouths onto felt and appliqued the felt on. The belly is also appliqued. I was going to go with paw pads as well but this was cheap felt and not conducive to finer work so I left it off. I suppose I could go back and embroider paw pads on but no, I'm not going to and you can't make me.
I'd started this in early December once I found out Lillia would be done soon (I turned her over in October and I was told to not expect her back until January) and set it aside to make Christmas presents and picked it up off and on until I only had the ears and the finishing left which I did last night. Sad to say the groove I wore into my finger in December from feeding yarn hadn't entirely healed and now my finger hurts like a mofo.
What else, what else? The legs are weighted with steel shot so it can stand on its own or on a surface with a big magnet and the arms are jointed so they can rotate freely. I guess that's everything.

Pattern: None
Yarn: Karabella Lace Merino in light pink
Hook: Size 7 which I think is about 0.5mm
Notes: Thin wool being pulled over finger for an extended period of time will cut through said finger and will slow project down.
I know, I know, I don't like amigurumi but I had the urge and I wanted to see how much I could do on my own without relying on an established pattern. All of it, as it turns out. Well no, when I got stuck, I looked at finished rabbits to see what they did for faces and went with the felt one. So, pretty far without needing to look at one, yeah?
