It's the memories in the shed that make me turn red

This is where my madness will start.



These are the fixings for the sweater for my Coraline doll. Her torso is 3.5cm wide and 4cm long. The ball and skein there aren't even yarn, they're crewelwork thread and the needles are US0 (2mm) and US00 (1.75mm). I don't have anything smaller (toothpicks are between a 0 and 00) so I wonder how far I'll get before I curse the name of Coraline and run screaming through the town, stabbing at people with my double-aughts.

The originals done for the movie by Bugknits are way, way smaller and look like they were knitted on piano wire. There's a short video of it here.
