Ah, I see. So I have no non-blurry photos. I didn't take a lot at the meet to begin with, about 5-7 total which is a new low for me. I was busy entertaining the troops. It was a nice-sized group and everyone was cool. There were a couple of new people, well, only one really since I'd met Nico before and so had most everyone else, at one point or another. Let's see, present were JulieM and Mr. JulieM, Paul, Melissa, Hilary, Ann, Nico, Kali, Joey, Jamie, Angel, Sonia, Paula, Linda and Christine. We all mingled-mingled and I spent quite a bit of time chatting to Melissa and Paul came by and said nice things. It was very friendly and not at all angst-ridden as I thought it'd be. Or maybe it was my prep work, I don't know but it was the only meet I'd had fun at all year so I was happy, even if I went kicking and screaming to it in the first place. I didn't even complain about my steakfish since everyone else had loved their food and I didn't want ruin the mood by fussing, so there.
Joey brought a bag of free loot that he was kind enough to toss on a nearby table so no one was trampled in the mêlée. I brought Vodianova in her Super Globetrotter afro hat which I thought was hilarious but wasn't sure if anyone else would understand. Even if they didn't I think most were entertained by pulling something out of an afro. Now I just need a miniature pick in the shape of a fist.
Birthday-wise, I had an incident that morning and managed to miss my own birthday trip to Descanso Gardens. But since my birthday turned out to be one of those Pilgrim's Progress jaunts I'm so fond of, I made it in time for the dinner portion. Non-blurry!

And I had a steak that tasted like steak. (Look at that poor MSR. That was mine, living with me will ruin any perfect doll. Oh well, Ann's problem now.)
Then over to Jenni's for cake, glorious cake. Jamie went back to her house to pick up her and Joey's presents so I could open them all together at Jenni's house. My loot was many and pretty fucking fantastic. Much fun.
And then on to Jamie's house for boozing and competitive karaoke. Turns out, I truly suck even at songs I know. All those photos are underexposed and as the night drew on, they get progressively blurry. I don't even know what some of them were supposed to be.

Like this. What the hell is this? I think I put a wig on my hand and made it drink?
Whoooooooo!
