Julie Agrees to Model
Lovely girl and so generous with her time. Thanks, Julie for agreeing to do this, maybe next "cycle" I'll see you on ANTM? Hmmmm?

Pattern: Cabled Newsboy from "Stitch 'N' Bitch Nation" by Debbie Stoller
Yarn: Bernat Softee Chunky in black, almost one skein, exactly
Needles: 16" circular, size 8 and 10; dpns size 10
Modifications: Pattern as written with an additional cable repeat before decreasing, so it measured about 5" before the decreases, as recommended in pattern for dreadlocked rastas. No brim attached, mon.
Problems: One of the last bits in the pattern says to "end at 72" on a row 4, which is mathematically impossible since the row 3 decreases always result in an odd number and a row 4 has no increases or decreases. I fudged and it was so close to the top that it's wasn't noticeable.
