A very revealing craftventory
Well, the teetering stacks of Rubbermaid totes necessitated an inventory of craft supplies, lest I continually purchase items I already have just because the items I do have are hard to get to.
So, I divided everything into "Yarn" and "Not Yarn." The yarn was then subdivided into "Black" and "Not Black." I am a complicated person.
What was so revealing was that the majority of my yarn, nay, all of my yarn (save for some sequestered skeins elsewhere) are acrylic. Which I reckon pegs me as a crocheter. We, the lovers of Red Heart and Simply Soft. And I have never even made an afghan. I should start one though. And an uncomfortably scratchy baby dress. Then I will have truly become a stereotype.
(And just as an FYI, all of the "Not Yarn" category was sewing-related. I won't get into that now, but suffice to say the same subcategories would apply.)
