I made stuff, but it's gross. Not the kind I like gross either.
Over the last two weeks, I went on some kind of ugly yarn bender and rather than throw them away or burn them, I made some hats. Some really ugly hats but whatever, someone will get these in a future swap or something. The black hats were not meant to be ugly though, they were just also made in the same time period and I do like the blue beret, again, same time period. The ugh is from the multicolored nastyness and the puke green.
All at once. Only the customs, Kenners and my Love Mission have been out so they were pressed into service for a rather crappy group photo on the side of a hill.
Yarn: I have no idea, I lost the band a long time ago. It was a store wrapped pull skein though, so I know it was wool. I will say Cascade 220.
Hook: F
Notes: I actually started this one about two years ago and it just sat there while I remained uninterested. I decided to finish it and I wasn't crazy about it because I wanted more of a flare going down, so I made the one below.
Yarn: I have no idea. Katia something, maybe? From Unwind on sale for like $1 at their Superbowl sale earlier this year.
Needles: Size 2, I think.
Yarn: Still don't know. Black wool of some kind with a bit of Caron Simply Soft at the very end because I ran out of yarn completely at the brim. Matched pretty well, I can't even tell.
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver self-striping in a color called "Bikini"
Hook: G or H, probably H. Maybe I. It doesn't matter, this yarn is foul.
Notes: This yarn is sooooo ugly, just so ugly. I liked the bright colors but that's about it. It feels like working with the plastic holder from a 6-pack.
Yarn: Ugh.
Needles: US6, knit in the round.
Yarn: Stitch n' Bitch Nation, Full O'Sheep in "Thyme"
Hook: J or K.
Notes: Thyme my ass, it's avocado. I liked the yarn otherwise, I guess, it's okay but this color is bleh.
