I must say, I am a little bit proud of myself. I saw a fixer upper Kozy Kape for a veddy veddy good price. The sales picture had the doll in clothes with a hat on and said the spring had fallen off. Knowing that Kozies are victims of awful hair that regularly de-thatches and might have other issues, I went ahead and got her. She arrived today. Without the spring, her eyelids unboggled and she lost all of her BL-ness with droopy lids so I resolved to reattach the spring. Not only was I able to, but I managed to do it without damaging her faceplates and without taking her scalp off, thanks to a bright light, careful hands, a very long thin reverse tweezers and very tiny crochet hook. And, as it turned out, she had perfect hair and no other issues. A detached spring, that's it! Whoo hoo! I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a Rosie now.
