knights in white satin
Saddy sad sad clown face in Mise-en-scène Land. That was most unfortunate. I spent all of Sunday with a smile plastered to my face and consciously filtering what I said and did, all the ding dong day, from 8:00 a.m. to almost 10:00 p.m., against my better judgment and inclination. That will teach me. Well, if tradition, custom, and practice no longer apply, then I no longer have any obligations and I'm clear now, yes? Yes.
In other news, late last night, I assembled a truly terrifying doll from a 4" T-600 action figure I bought for half off at Toys R Us and a Living Skipper head. It was freaking me out so I put Tutti rain boots on it. Then I made it a dress. I had a really hard time looking at it and just now thinking of it waiting for me on the kitchen counter when I get home, I feel like crying. Why did I make it a dress?
Edited to add: My nightmare, Skipperbot

Yarn: Katia Soft in red (from the Unwind Superbowl Sale on Sunday)
Hook: 5
Needles: US1
Pattern: Chain 24, eventually K2, K1fb, etc. Shell stitch border.
Notes: Bodice should have been shorter to show leg between hem and top of boots.
