I will get it right, I will, I will

I have been trying to knit a black babydoll dress in time for the meet on Sunday and it's just not going well. I'd bought an underskirt/collar combo in white tulle on Etsy which is super cute, and would look way cuter peeking out from underneath a black babydoll puff sleeve dress. Really, it would. The first was too long and it looked bad in the heavier yarn I'd used. That was on Wednesday. Last night I tried a thinner yarn but I did not do enough increases so there's no crazy flare and the neck came out super huge for some reason. I suppose, they're okay in their own right, just not what I was shooting for.

I am pleased with myself, however, that each dress took me only a day to do (about 6-8 hours) from cast on to cast off and finishing. Except for buttons. The ends are woven in and they've buttonholes but no buttons since I can't remember where I put them or if I'm clean out and need to buy more.
