Re-Ment Fan Club meeting

It's that time again. That time when I receive a notice of an upcoming meeting, RSVP in time, go, and then come back to a world of hostility because I failed to make my itinerary public weeks ahead of time, nor called everyone on my phone tree to alert them to public information they had already received, nor followed up repeatedly nor did I offer to drive anyone the few miles from their house to the event. Clearly, I should be shot and garroted. And that is my passive aggressive note for the day.

Raffle prizes! I didn't win anything.

I think I'll get this set later because it has a tiny little hotel key and that must be good for something. Maybe having someone pass out in front of a door with the tiny key in the lock.

New for this meeting were games that Robin spent a lot of time putting together. We had Bingo, where we made up our own cards with the stickers provided and had to also find the card's picture-squares on the slideshow presentation. The pics were too small so they just got yelled out and I didn't win but it was fun anyway and I learned the names of some of the sets. Fun AND informative.

This one involved close-up pics of the animal figures from a Re-Ment set where you had to guess the animal according to Re-Ment's description, which calls a squirrel a "chipmunk" and a parakeet a "canary." Okay. There was a rabbit on speed that I thought was a chinchilla and which I later won as a prize for getting 11 out of 12. No, wait. I just now realized I only got 10 out of 12 correct so I am not even entitled to the bunny-pot. That's pretty terrible.

As our parting gift, we were each presented with this gigantic store display that vendors got with each case of Re-Ment purchased wholesale so VHTF for the general public, I suppose. Everyone was practically crying at receiving one, they were so surprised and happy.

And the rest.
