Ash Wednesday 2009

The D60, holla! Not mine for reals, I borrowed it to see if I'd be able to tolerate lugging something this size around on a regular basis. Party on, Wayne.
Also the first day of Lent and more hollow promises to abide by. I think we'll go with the old standby of no meat or chocolate so that Cadbury Creme Egg I hadn't gotten around to yet is going to have to sit there and mock me for a while longer. I would like to learn a new skill a week but I'm unteachable so that would just be wasted effort. It should be something in which effort is exerted instead of just avoidance. Hmm. I'll have to hop-think on this. Oh! I know. I have to finish the piles of half-finished and barely-started projects that have been waiting for me to get around to them. See, there, that's just a cheat because it ultimately benefits me. But if it's any consolation, I won't be happy about it.
Oh no, wait. I know. No new toys except for preexisting orders. Oooooh, ouch. eBay will think I've died.

Right. Not buying toys is just more avoidance and is not proactive at all. Plus, I think you will just get someone to buy your toys for you which makes the whole thing moot. Lastly, you can never give up bacon.
Never ever use "proactive" at me. Ever. I don't care what your crappy school told you, it's not a word and I can TOO give up bacon, it's not a necessary evil like coffee. Your point re more avoidance is begrudgingly valid and I shall think upon it further. Jerk.
