I am still going through my San Francisco photos (shot on three separate cameras, holla!) so in the meantime I built Braver 01.
Closed, looking like a cellphone. At least he's supposed to.
Clamshell phone opened (he looks suspiciously like a Startac).
Transformed!
Full range of movements in his arms and legs. He even has molded fists and flip down feet!
Still transformed but with the alternate face. The cellphone screen is an insert that can flip between the two.
He was something like 47 pieces plus the stickers and I only had to redo one section. He was such fun to put together that I went back to the Little Tokyo Marukai to buy another but all they had were more Braver 01s. I'll try Nijiya or the other Marukai (Mitsuwa?) next, I think. Or I'll try tackling the Theremin and he can play it.
