Day 2
I have no pictures. I had no light. I have a pounding headache and I think it's due to sugar withdrawal. Also boredom. I did not anticipate how much I would miss television and the internet if I was at home. I've already read all there is to read here and now I'm bored and extremely restless. What the hell did people do for entertainment then? Is that why they were all in bed before 9? This is crazy.
Cooking and eating is not that big a deal except for having to make rice without a cooker, that just takes forever. Maybe I'll bake cookies, that will both consume my time and fulfill my need for sugar. Also it smells good. Great, now I need to find my mixer and wait for all the ingredients to reach room temperature, because what I really needed was more standing-around time. Maybe I'll start crank-calling people and get all upset that they're listening on my party line. I could always work on a new template but I can't draw nor do I have any artistic ability (shaking fist at the Creator) which reduces me to either stolen images or begging someone to do it for me (Cypress Hill, I'm looking at YOU, barrels don't just draw themselves).

I reckon you need to spend the day cleaning the house. If I learned anything from the PBS series, it was that cleaning the house was a full-time job from all the smoke, etc. Yours might not be smoke, but clean anyway. Also, you'd be washing your clothes by hand. When will you be hosting a party filled with parlor games? Darn some socks (darn you, socks!)
They did have electricity and wringer washers, you know. Maybe I can put holes in my socks just to patch them up again.
