Day 1
Was sort of a bust. I began my day with a breakfast of French-pressed coffee and Kellog's Cornflakes which is so utterly tasteless, it was like eating chipboard. I poured sugar on it but it was still pretty gross. I do not have the patience to make oatmeal so I might just stick with grilled cheese sandwiches or possibly scrambled eggs. Or just coffee and a banana or an orange. Yup, probably just that.
Then I backslid and went to normal stores in normal clothes and saw a movie on dvd in a dwelling built in the 50's. Damn.
I compounded my sin and consoled myself when I got home by opening day 1 of my LEGO Advent calendar where I was greeted by a wee knight with a pike. I'd bought a second set for my brother and it wasn't until after I'd received them that I remembered he doesn't particularly care for the Castle sets (that was me, I knew it was one of us) so I reckon I will keep the other intact for my nephew when he gets old enough to not eat them.
Tomorrow, I will attempt to take period photos of me gear. Or something.
P.S. My mailman is a total dick.
End trans
