What's that I hear now ringing in my ears? I've heard that sound before.

Yarn: In keeping with the vintage pattern, I stuck to bright acrylics. Red Heart Baby Soft in light pink, Caron Simply Soft Brites in bright turquoise and bright yellow.
Needles: Size 4 throughout, size C hook.
Notes: This took some doing. I could not just halve the row or stitch count because of the eye and mouth holes so I had to go by proportions and percentages which required me to actually make a gauge swatch, no lie. There is not as much shaping as in the original because there was not enough room to establish any so the smiley mouth was done with amigurumi, the nose shaping was done by soft sculpture and the nose is embroidery. Fudging all around. I should have done less purls in the first yellow round. Each section had to be ripped back and redone multiple times but I was happy I had some pink ribbon in the exact color and size I needed, yay for hoarding. I took the photos in a hurry this morning because I just wanted it over with and put away so it looks scarier to me because it's askew.
