Lovely day

Such a lovely day today, weather-wise. And otherwise. I have managed to avoid being in three, count 'em THREE, swaps; my invitation to join Ravelry came through; of the seven pairs of eyechips I ordered for Loki, one was suitable; I suddenly have commissions coming out the hey-now; and I have all kinds of loverly things winging their way to me now in the mail. Sigh of contentment.

And, AND, I'm going to see Blade Runner:The Director's Cut on Saturday morning since I need to am-scray while my neighbors are having a yard sale lest they inveigle me. I am so looking forward to it: Philip K. Dick, a post-apocalyptic vision of the future, androids, the Bradbury Building, young Harrison Ford, newspeak/city speech, steampunk, the Ennis Brown house, Rutger Hauer. I may never leave the theater.

Ahem, yes. I also now have an Asian ball-jointed doll, a Pipos Baha. She won't be staying but I decided to make her life slightly more comfortable in the interim so I've found her a carrier and I crocheted her a blankie to keep her from knocking around while in there.

Yarn: Red Heart "Light & Lofty"
Hook: N
Pattern: Minnesota rectangle in hdc.

ETA: My neighbor has just informed me that they've moved the yard sale to next week. Fuck it, I'm still going to see my movie.
