Craftster throw-down

I don't know how these things happen. You take a single innocuous statement or idea and all of a sudden people are crying and accusing each other and it all gets very ugly.

I have been an active member of Craftster since 2004. I got into Blythes and I wanted to merge the two so I suggested that Craftster start a new board devoted exclusively to crafts created for dolls or the modding of dolls themselves. Just a suggestion, nothing big. There was some interest but no moderators or admins poked their heads in to give an opinion so the idea just stagnated.

Then we decided that if there was no other place to gather, we would gather in this original post. So occasionally, photos of FOs were posted.

About a week ago, the, uh, fan was hit. I'm not sure how or why, but about five moderators suddenly got involved, we were accused of extortion and trying to jack threads and it all got very ugly. Or rather, it is very ugly because it is still in progress.

And we still don't have a yay or nay on whether there will be a new board!
