Note to self: drink more water
On Sunday, I finally got to return to the Pasadena City College Flea Market, hooray! It was exactly what I remembered, only less vendors, somehow. Not that it stopped my from buying much. I went with Jenni and Joey and while the two of them pooped out after a couple of hours, I remained hardy. Or so I thought. After I got home, I showered, changed, got sick, started shaking, became uncontrollably thirsty and wanted to fall asleep before I finished dressing. Yep, in addition to the sunburn I also got a bit of the heat exhaustion. Nice. I also apparently uploaded the photos I took that day, which I don't remember doing and surprised myself with this morning. So if any of you nice people got rambling emails or phone calls yesterday, I am sorry. Ditto if you tried calling me. Please let me know if I admitted to anything or said anything interesting (what a change). Umm, I didn't really take the Lindbergh baby.
Some of what I bought yesterday, surrounding Joey's Disco Boogie, Sinatra.

Left to right: Remco Pocketbook Jan, Flatsy clone from Fun Industries, headless Calendar Girl in coronation dress. That there is Joey's freak-ass Kamar mouse.
This is a vendor who was there. I should say "vendor." I don't know what her story was, but all she had to sell was a bracelet, a bottle of nail polish and a pair of sunglasses. Basically, what she'd had on her. I can only hope that earlier that day she'd had massive quantities of stuff that sold quickly and had been carried off.
