What was that now?

In continuing with the "why did I put that movie in my queue?" investigation, I received The Dolly Sisters, a musical from 1946 with Betty Grable and June Haver. Apparently, I had liked one of the costumes in a dance number ("Mascaaaaaraaaaa, I'll dooo for yoooou what I did for Thedaaa Baraaaaaaaa"). The audio commentary was from some pedantic film professor from USC who completely abandoned talking about the movie and instead tried to drop as many names as he knew that were associated with 1940's Hollywood. He was so busy talking about obscure movie producers, that he provided zero actual commentary when The Dolly Sisters were in Paris singing and dancing to The Darktown Strutter's Ball. The entire cast was not only in blackface, but the dancers' costumes were things like a dice game and a watermelon. Then when I thought I couldn't laugh any more, Betty Grable and June Haver came out dressed as pickaninnies and did a spirited googly-eyed jig, all while the USC fella droned on and on about Orla Kiely for no reason and completely ignored the show.
