Anyway, I made use of my Compatto hostage yarn. I'd thought the colors were more similar but it appears that they are only distantly related. No ends have been woven in or anything.


I think I'll add a ruffle edge to the other side of the coat so I can pretend it's a cutaway, instead of admitting forgetting that wool is more elastic and shrinks and thus came out too small. And do bishop sleeves, maybe. I think it should have a fabric dress beneath though, something straight to the waist and then heavily ruffled horizontally to the mid-knee. Yeah, we'll see.
