Sign of relief, followed by nail-biting until package arrival

Well, I managed to complete my swap package and send it out on Monday, hooray! I am mostly happy with it, it's not to my taste but it wasn't intended for me. I hope the recipient doesn't dislike it too much. Somewhere in there I also read Hey Reporter and the Death Blow Halos. I'll post pictures once I know my swap partner has received it.

If only I would put as much quality control in the stuff I make for myself, if I ever made anything for myself. The stuff for my own use tends to be held together with fabric glue and staples with loose threads and mis-sewn seams running every which way. The stuff made for other people has pressed seams, sewn-in ends, tacked down collars and cuffs, French seams, even hems and Fray-Check. It also takes as long to cut and sew as human-sized clothing. Please don't let me sign up for any more swaps as they cause far too much anxiety, before, during and after. I had to put myself on lockdown all weekend and my kitchen is a mess. No more swaps!
