Knights in white satin
I'd made this just to try out the weave stitch in the white part, to see if it would look like ribbing without having the stretch. I say close enough. The rest was superfluous but I did use a bright color since I don't really have any bright colors aside from red.

Pattern: Mainly the Skipper Basic Top pattern from the Barbie Basics site.
Needle: US 4
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in watermelon, Bernat Softee Baby in white.
Notes: These pleats came out all fucked up which tells me I should not try and improvise that which I do not know. I knew the pink yarn was too thick going in so I'm not shocked by how it looks (or how shiny it is) since it was a test. I do like that it closes in the back with the necktie, that's kinda handy. Four-in-hands for everyone!
This dress took so long, it took sooooooo looooooong. How long did it take? The entire first season of "Dead Like Me" and two and a half episodes of season 2. It came out very bumpy in places because I kept getting sick of it and putting it down for a while. I was going to list it but those bumps aren't coming out so here it stays.

Pattern: None
Needles: US 1 and hook size 5, possibly the 7, they're pretty close in size and I can't remember which I used.
Yarn: Rowan 4-ply in black, Joann's Sensations Bamboo & Ewe in a dusky purpley color.
Notes: I can't believe the purpley yarn came from Joann's, it's actually nice! The wool isn't cut enough for me though, my hands still got red and irritated but the tingle means it's working.
Sad photos, eh? Taken at 8 at night in my office. I am tired.
