Is it Chrismakwanzaakah yet?
Another swap on Craftster, this time a Holiday Theme Swap for Blythes and only Blythes. I was happy with it being a Christmas theme but it was expanded, of course, to include all winter/December/solstice type holidays which would encompass our new holiday of Feliz Guavidad. Send-out is December 3rd which means I will start (accelerate) my meltdown around December 2nd. Watch this space here.
This is our second year of Feliz Guavidad. Last year we celebrated with the Plumber de Navidad but hopefully he will not need to return. I need to get started on ornaments and find an appropriate crèche. I'm thinking Playmobil. I'm pretty sure they make one. I also need to make and send cards and hopefully I'll have my act together in time to order some custom postage stamps in commemoration.
I love the holidays. My family doesn't care that I'm a monster or a bully or an asshole. They already know.

Love the new word. Is that a "Portmanteau"?? What do I tell you about swaps? Huh? Can't learn. Is that what incorrigible means? Or is that the cardboard with the soft foldy bits, har har...
It is and it is becoming common usage although I have yet to see one that incorporates the Solstice. Christmakwanzaakahstice?
